Clarity Community Management was established on the foundations of transparency and professionalism in association management.
Respected Association Management in Fresno and California’s Central Coast
Originally the HOA division of River Drive Properties, Clarity emerged from a chance introduction. In April 2022, River Drive did not manage HOAs, but the owners were eager to explore this opportunity. Concurrently, Michalene Everett and Brandon Waters were seeking a new venture that aligned with their skills, experience, passion, and ethical standards. Following their meeting, Denise Turner and Joseph Cox decided to take a bold step and launch an HOA division at River Drive from scratch.
Setting Higher Standards for Community Management
By 2024, this initiative had evolved into a rapidly growing and highly respected Association Management team, overseeing communities of various sizes across several valley towns. To accommodate anticipated growth, the team reconvened to establish Clarity Community Management, The Clear Choice in Association Management. This company is dedicated to managing community associations throughout California with certified, trained, transparent, and professional management.
Meet the Clarity Community Management Team
Michalene “Mikki” Everett
Co-owner and Director of HOA Management
Co-owner and Director of HOA Management, Michalene “Mikki” Everett, CMCA® AMS®, has been a prominent figure in Central Valley Association management for over a decade. She was recognized as a top three finalist in the CAI National Portfolio Manager of the Year contest for her significant contributions to a particularly challenged community in the Fresno, CA market. Michalene continues to grow in her education and will soon gain her PCAM certification, the highest designation in our field as well as her B.A. in Operations/Project Management.
Brandon Waters
Co-owner and Director of HOA Safety and Security
Co-owner and Director of HOA Safety and Security, Brandon Waters, CMCA® AMS®, has over 20 years of experience in security and investigations. He transitioned to association management after owning a private security firm in Fresno for over six years, where he collaborated closely with Mikki on numerous challenging properties. He began his property management career in 2020 after closing his business and briefly attending the Fresno Police Academy. Brandon is also a Trustee on the Non-profit Board for Fresno Police and Neighborhood Watch and received an award from the Fresno/Madera Counties Police Chiefs Association for his valuable contribution to Law Enforcement.
Denise Turner
President & Clarity Community Management Co-Owner
Denise’s passion for property management started over 30 years ago and remains strong today! Her experience comes from working in every position within the property management field and her drive comes from a desire to showcase property management as an integral branch of real estate that serves both investors and communities.
Denise grew up in Gilroy and attended Gilroy High School, where she graduated in 1988. Always broadening her horizons, Denise went to college later in life and successfully earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
She is the mother and stepmother of 4 grown children and the grandmother of 7. She loves to travel and spend time with her family when she’s not busy helping clients reach their investment goals.
Joesph Cox
Vice President Clarity Community Management Co-Owner
Joseph’s passion for people started when he entered the workforce. His upbeat personality and ability to analyze situations from many different angles makes his personality a natural fit for property management. Joseph started his career in the industry as an on-site property manager. His ability to connect with people makes him an asset in his role where he is responsible for marketing, public relations, and company-wide customer service training. Always ready with a lighthearted moment, he believes laughter can make the worst days a little brighter.
In his down time, Joseph spends as much time as possible exploring new cities and relaxing any place near the ocean.
